Sonoma Pins etc. Corp. Changes Name

SONOMA, Calif. – Sonoma Pins etc. Corp., a manufacturer of custom promotional products, announces the change of its operational name to Sonoma Promotional Solutions. This name change more clearly defines Sonoma Promotional’s growing product diversity.

Founded in January 1990, the company initially directed its product line toward lapel pins. In early 1995, additional products such as medallions, key chains, dog tags, zipper pulls and magnets were added, and its advertising was refocused on not just pins.

Starting in August 2004, production capabilities were added for the manufacture of silicone bracelets, plastic goods and precious jewelry. It was soon apparent to management that “not just pins” was in reality “more than pins.” It became obvious that having the word “pins” in its operating name was confusing to its growing market.

In October 2005, a new division, SOS Alert Products was formed, introducing medical emergency products.

Today, Sonoma Promotional Solutions encompasses its broad outreach and product capabilities. “We look forward to providing rapid project solutions to our expanding customer base,” states Bernard L. Friedman, president.
