Inc. Magazine Names Motivators Inc. as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

WESTBURY, N.Y. — Inc magazine announced the Inc. 5,000 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Promotional products distributor Motivators Inc. ranked 1,168 on the list with a growth of 321 percent since 2003. In addition to receiving this designation, the company was also ranked 93 of the Top 100 Businesses in New York, New Jersey and Long Island.

“It’s an honor to be recognized on the same list that has recognized innovators such as GoDaddy and Microsoft,” said CEO Ken Laffer, MAS, who founded the company in 1979 and introduced Motivators.com in 1995. In 2003, the site re-launched as a secure e-commerce-enabled portal for all steps of the buying process.

Earlier this year, the company launched Motivators TV, an online channel dedicated to promotional products. Product demonstration videos allow customers to experience features that couldn’t be highlighted in a picture.

Motivators Inc. is based out of Long Island, N.Y. The company’s full-service Web site, Motivators.com, offers more than 40,000 promotional products.
