Logomark Inc. named Gardnar O’Brien as its new chief financial officer. O’Brien was most recently the interim CFO for a $65 million importer of gift products from China. From 1998-2005, he was the CFO for Sweda Co.

Distributor HALO/Lee Wayne added Jim Stutz as senior vice president. Stutz previously served as Promotional Products Division Director at Cintas.

Apothecary Products Inc. (API), parent company of API Line and Optico/Karlen, announced that Ron Barg was promoted to the position of president. Previously Barg was the company’s chief financial officer.

Distributor PromoShop Inc. announced several additions to its team. In Los Angeles, it added Robyn Senoff, Jorge Becerra and Adrianne O'Neill as account executives; Berrie Salas, Annie Civetz and Dorit Hanover as sales coordinators; and Toney Renteria as front-office coordinator. In Irvine, Calif., Ashely Duff joined the team as front-office coordinator. In San Diego, Debbie Schramm of UNIQ2U partnered with the company’s local office and Sara Ferguson is a new sales coordinator.

Parsippany, N.J.-based MediaTree named Marcos Domiciano as senior project manager. He was formerly a project manager. The company also hired Michael Joliat as its new director of strategic marketing. Joliat comes to the industry with more than five years of advertising, public relations and marketing experience.

Celina, Ohio-based Eighth Floor hired three regional mangers on the west coast. Eric Martin has been promoted to Southwest regional manager and will cover Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Susan Guldbeck is the Southern California regional manager and Steve Alegria will represent northern California, Oregon and Washington as the Northwest regional manager.

Pioneer Balloon Co. announced that Katherine Larson has joined the company as national sales manager for promotional markets. She is a 31-year veteran of promotional and incentive markets.

Proforma opened six new offices in April and welcomed eight new owners: Rich and Lisa Mistkowski, owners of Proforma ROI Promotions in Chester, N.J.; Betty Belcourt, owner of Proforma Bear Paw Pacific Advertising Specialties in Placentia, Calif.; Wanda Zoeller and Susan Herndon, owners of Proforma Double Dog Dare in New Albany, Ind.; Chris Morrissey, owner of Proforma Big Dog Branding in Fort Collins, Colo.; Stephen Gardner, owner of Proforma Parkway Promotions in Ashland, Ohio; and Jennifer Stinson, owner of Proforma Marketing Undefined in Pickerington, Ohio.

Dan Jellinek has joined PromoCard Services as director of business development. He will also be responsible for heading up the company’s marketing department, managing the sales force and maintaining relationships with national accounts. Prior to joining PCS, Jellinek was executive vice president for Corplogoware.

Hub Pen Co. hired Bill Nault as a sales executive. Nault brings more than 10 years of experience in the industry and was most recently sales manager for The Quill Co. Inc. Hub also appointed Paul Suyetsugu, CAS, president of PS Sales and Marketing LLC as the representative for California, Arizona and Nevada territories. He has a diverse background with more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently as director of national accounts for Clegg Industries Inc. PS Sales and Marketing LLC also represents Clegg Industries and the AMC Line by Apollo Embroidery.

Cap America has created and filled two new positions: Shawn Naeter was hired as the new national sales manager and Russ MacBride will assume the new role as business development manager.

Edison Dane has been hired to manage Sage’s sales and marketing as the company’s new director of sales and marketing

TRG Group hired Brian Porter as Midwest region manager for the corporate markets division. Based in Kansas City, Brian will directly oversee 14 states in the Midwestern region including Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Michigan.

Leed’s hired Frank Weissert as the business development representative handling Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

The Magnet Group recently appointed Jacque McHugh to the newly created position of e-business manager. McHugh has been a TMG sales and service professional since 1996 and, most recently, was sales manager in the southwest and central states regions.

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) named Mark Quinn, CPA, as chief financial officer. Quinn will report to Vince Bucolo, chief operating officer, and he will oversee the finance operations for ASI.
