INDIANAPOLIS — Norwood Promotional Products recently launched “Safety Search,” an online repository of product-safety test reports for more than 2,000 Norwood products. These reports are available for download on the distributor portion of its Web site, Norwood.com. “Product safety is the biggest issue we face as an industry,” said Paul M. Lage, MAS, CEO and president of Norwood. “At Norwood we have made product safety our No. 1 priority and are in the process of testing every imprint ink and product we sell.” Safety Search is one of the industry’s first online resources for product-safety test reporting. Norwood has tested more than 2,000 of its approximately 4,300 items for lead and Prop 65 compliance. In many instances, other applicable safety tests are being performed. Norwood continues to test its remaining products and ink lines and will make these reports available as they are completed. Many test reports are already loaded and the remainder will be loaded during July and August. Norwood uses independent certified testing labs. Related Content:
