Norwood To Relocate Souvenir Brand

After major flooding in June, Norwood Promotional Products announced today that it will permanently relocate its Souvenir writing-instruments line operations to the company’s Red Wing, Minn., facility, ASI announced. The Souvenir location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa was severely damaged when the Cedar River flooded in June, and the Souvenir line has been working out of the Red Wing plant since.

Norwood president and CEO Paul Lage cited business risks and employee-safety concerns as for not returning to the Iowa facility. The company will add more than 100 new positions in the Red Wing area and expects the permanent relocation to be final by the end of November.
